Over 1200 nights sold in 1 year for a resort

The client has a beach resort at Vengurla, Konkan having 10 huts shaped air-conditioned cottages. Guests can enjoy authentic Malvani food and indulge in adventures like kayaking, cycling, beach camping, swimming, fishing, etc.

The challenge the client was facing was that Vengurla not being a tourist destination, attracted fewer visitors to the resort. The client wanted to build visibility of the resort among tourists planning a vacation to Goa (Vengurla is a 2-hrs drive from Goa) and wanted to attract more bookings – both in and offseason.

We devised an extensive digital marketing plan to overcome the challenge and bring in a significant number of enquiries.

We first created an ‘Experience Konkan’ theme to subdue the unknown resort location challenge, promoting nature, local culture and professions of natives on social media platforms.

We then revamped the client website based on the theme, highlighting resort amenities, beaches, recreational activities, nearby attractions, testimonials of the customers, etc.

The next step included launching a Facebook campaign to drive visitors to the website and appointing a full-time salesperson whose tasks included speaking with website visitors through online chat, resolving their queries and converting them into paying guests.

The results of all these efforts were that we were able to increase the website visits by 10x in just 1 year, with the client getting an incredible 25x ROI in a mere period of 6 months.
