Besame Wellness, a fully licensed cannabis (medical marijuana) dispensary in Missouri operates across five locations in the state, serving individuals with medical marijuana prescriptions.

The objective was to enhance website visibility and bring a more relevant audience to the website. The number of monthly visitors to the website at the beginning of the project was around 5500, and the target was to increase the traffic by 3x within the next 6 months. 

Challenges Faced by the Client

No Possibility of Paid Marketing:

Since the Cannabis business comes under the susceptible category, it wasn’t possible to improve website visibility using any sort of ads. There were many limitations on what could be posted on social media as well.

Unoptimised website content:

The website content and structure were not fully optimised. Many technical issues were holding the website back from ranking higher in search results.

Low Local Visibility:

Since Besame Wellness only operates in Missouri state and 5 specific locations, it was important to have very high local visibility. However, this wasn’t the case when we started working on the project.
